                         Afternoon Tea
 Etiquette Presentation
Designed for retirement
 and assisted living communities.

The senior citizens of our great country have earned and are entitled to the luxury of relaxation. Isn’t it a shame that they are stressed and burdened with what they see in the news on a daily basis?  Whether it is a tea party or any other type of outing, they deserve a break from the   negativity of current events.  These should be happy days for them, a time to enjoy every moment.

There is an attractive timeless quality about going to tea no matter where is occurs.  The calming and charming ambiance makes it irresistible.  Tea beckons us to enjoy quality time with friends and loved ones and brings us back to rediscover relaxed conversation.

Afternoon tea is one of life’s greatest pleasures.  However, it is also cloaked with rules of etiquette. The residents of the community will find the presentation humorous, entertaining and interesting.

We’ll discuss; tea time past and present, tales of tea, the art of being a gracious guest and hostess, proper tea etiquette and faux pas, types of tea and proper tea seeping, as well as a discussion about deliciously scrumptious recipes.

There are many ways to add to the authenticity of the day such as suggesting that residents sport their favorite tea party attire.  Hats, scarves, boas and gloves are welcome, flashy and fun.  And of course, the gentlemen residents are welcome to join the fun as well.  Perhaps the residents would like to invite a family member or friend to be a part of this delightful afternoon.  Afternoon Tea Etiquette is all about giving the residents something to look forward to and enjoy immensely.  They’ll be chatting on and on about the afternoon’s events for many days after.

For the comfort and        convenience of your community’s residents, The Afternoon Tea presentation is presented in the comfort of your community’s dining room while all are enjoying tea and savories provided by your establishment.  If you prefer, other arrangements can be made to take the “tea party” to an outside facility. Knowing how ladies (and gentleman) enjoy shopping, we are happy to set up a display of tea themed gifts and accessories for purchase.  This is not mandatory, but an option nonetheless.
